Carol (Scunthorpe, GB) This is my third eco chic backpack. The fabric used for the previous two seems much more substantial. The fabric used for this one feels flimsy and less durable. It’s thin and “crackly”. Hoping it lasts as well the others. Time will tell.

The outer material of our Eco Chic bags are made up of 100% rPET material, which is recycled PET (Polyethylene terephthalate) material mainly coming from plastic bottles.
To ensure they are made from authentic rPET, we only purchase audited materials certified by GRS.
Eco Chic bags are safe to machine wash at low temperatures without damaging the fabric.
Plastic-based fabrics however, may release plastic microfibres into the water when washed; to minimise this we recommend washing your bags only when necessary, and to hand wash if possible. If using a washing machine, wash at 30°C or lower. Do not tumble dry.
